2024 Rosé of Sangiovese $35
The Perfect Summer Sipper.
100% Sangiovese. Bright, dry, and unpretentious.
From the Santo Giordano vineyard in southern Carneros, where the cold winds and heavy fog ensure the fruit remains lean and lovely. This Rosé is 100% Sangiovese—winemaker Mike Barber’s favorite grape for producing a bright, acid-driven pink wine.
After harvest, the grapes were crushed and left on the skins for just three hours to achieve its gorgeous delicate color before being fermented in stainless steel. The result is a soft and friendly wine that packs a burst of bright jasmine and rosehip aromas. It is spectacular for summer sipping and wherever good times are happening.
The Petaluma Pairing: From Our In-House Cheese Shop
Because we own and operate the Petaluma Cheese Shop right inside our tasting room, we’ve been able to craft the ultimate pairing for this Rosé.
Nothing cuts through this Sangiovese like the creamy, artisan selections from our shop counters. We specifically recommend:
The Local Freshness: A fresh, tangy California Chèvre or a light sheep’s milk cheese.
The Perfect Picnic: Grab a wedge of our favorite local goat cheese, charcuterie, and a chilled bottle of Rosé to enjoy in our relaxed downtown space—or take it to go for a Petaluma Gap picnic.
