2024 Chardonnay Blend Belle Marie

2025 Sauvignon Blanc $35

2025 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Sassin Vineyard, Russian River Valley. Hand-picked, hand-sorted. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with lees stirring. Bottled unfined after a light filtration. Bright, racy, and low in alcohol — with great texture and mouthfeel. Just 120 cases made.

Our Sauvignon Blanc style is deliberate. We don't want it too sharp and grassy, and we don't want it too lemon-filled and rich. Instead, we go after the floral and melon side of the varietal — elegant and bright, with a delicate softness you don't usually find in a Sauv Blanc.

To get there, we harvest earlier than most for great natural acidity, ferment and age in stainless steel with no oak and no malolactic fermentation, and stir the wine in tank throughout aging to re-suspend the lees. That 'lees stirring' gives the wine more body — and a quiet almond note — without leaning on oak or sacrificing brightness. Before bottling we cool the tanks down and let the wine stabilize naturally in the cold; we do a light filtration, but never add any fining agent. The result is a wine with a tropical-fruit nose of grapefruit and pineapple, layers of green apple, citrus, and melon on the palate, and an easy-drinking elegance that's still racy and alive.

The Petaluma Pairing: From Our In-House Cheese Shop

This Sauvignon Blanc is bright, aromatic, and racy— a wine that can stand up to even the most powerful flavors. Because we own and operate the Petaluma Cheese Shop right inside our tasting room, we've hand-selected pairings that let its citrus, melon, and lees-driven texture do the talking:

  • The Match: We recommend a soft, pungent Washed Rind cheese or a more robust soft ripened cheese like Tomales Farmstead’s Teleeka (3 milk blend). Let the wine’s acidity and almond notes from the lees harmoniously calm a powerful cheese’s mushroom laden intensity.

  • The Experience: Visit our shop counter inside the tasting room to build a custom board, or grab a curated cheese board to enjoy with your flight.
